I am going to be brutally honest here, it sounds like you threw parts at the EAS without really knowing what needed to be fixed. You installed new shocks and new sensors, did you calibrate it after? Is your compressor working properly? Did you check for leaks? The EAS doesn't just $hit the bed... -

I know this coolant system can be a real pain to bleed air out of. That could still be your issue. Of course look for the usual signs of a failed head gasket, too. -

You can ignore all those codes except the P0171 code. That is a "lean code" and usually has to do with a vacuum leak, dirty/faulty MAF Sensor....but could be a lot of different things, too. Are you noticing any actual effect on performance? -

You might get your battery "load tested" to see if it's compromised. Between that, replacing as necessary, and never plugging the GAP into a running vehicle, I haven't had any repeat instances of this. -

This is a big point of contention among enthusiasts. Personally, I prefer the EAS and would not want a coil-converted vehicle; however, I do understand and appreciate the rationale for doing that conversion and in some cases it could make sense. It really just depends on what is important to you. -

@djatkinson maybe on a different thread so as not to jack Mith's, you can break down the likes/dislikes of each model. I think the LR4 is cool...interior is nice and more refined. I like the LR3's exterior a lot better though, and the 4.4L is anecdotally more robust than the 5.0. I don't own... -
05 LR3 transmission trouble
That could be almost anything that spins. Bearings, diffs, driveshaft. You likely need to get a pair of Chassis Ears on it so you can pinpoint the source. Bearings are fairly easy to test yourself, too. -

Hmmmm....I have the same noise, only periodically, on my '06 but not my '05. I always thought it was the A-Pillar in certain crosswinds. The '06 has a roof rack but yours doesn't I see. My '05 is just "tighter" in general so that is how I accounted for the '06 making noise and the "05 not... -

Good info, thanks. Luckily my '06 is more of a camping and light duty rig. My '05 is the built one and it has OEM shocks all the way around. -

You are going to have to be a lot more descriptive. I've had an LR3 for 17 years now and there is no "Overspeed" Warning. Take some pics or videos of what it's doing and upload them. -

If you have that option - to swap the 19s for 18s - then you should definitely do that. -

I think you can fit KO3s on that rim (don't quote me) but you're still going to be lacking for sidewall.
