Couldn't agree more. GOLD! I took some stuff off the front and I notice some greasiness in front - looks like valve cover may be it (left, driver's side). Doing a valve cover job should be a lot quicker/cheaper. Maybe even something I could tackle. More to come.... -

Changed tcase oil, level was about right. T case looks very clean and solid, leak likely not from that. The photos are of the transmission, just north (towards the front of the car) of the plastic transmission pan. That's either transmission oil or engine oil, I'm guessing. Has to be slow leak... -

I just took off the under body shield of my 2015 Lr4 to change front diff oil, I see grease. No pooling of oil on the shield, no pooling on the floor, bought the car almost 2 yrs ago when inspection said bone dry underneath. Should I be worried or is this ordinary? Haven't changed transmission... -

Here's my "solution". I wanted Android auto (carplay works as well), without interfering with current setup and it's old school charm. I also did not want to leave marks on leather, or do major operation to install/uninstall. -

2015 LR4 SCV6 Gas Mileage
I have the 2015 MY, bought it at 65k, now at 75k. I get 14mpg around town (haven't registered any highway miles on it unfortunately). I'm on 255/60 Toyo AT3, so that hurts performance a bit as well -

Has anyone installed these defender style lights?
That looks beautiful. If lr4 lights were trash, I'd totally think about making those upgrades. But the thing is, I love the lr4 look already, one of the best lights out on street. Hard to justify $1k expense to change something that works great and looks great already. -

Here's what I'm leaning towards. Found this phone mount on AliExpress for less that $2.5 each. Cut a small slit in the plastic to make a 'dock'. seems to be working fine. Stable enough, but ordered two more to cut narrower slots for increased stability. -

Looking good Franklin. Mine is positioned in the same spot, but just a bit back. Didn't want to attach the glue on suction to the leather. I have brown leather and I'm afraid it'll leave a visible mark. Let me know what you find to hide that logo. -

P0442 code and CEL - 2012 LR4
Hi guys, wanted to give an update. Chasing down the small EVAP leak still. Recently did my coolant pipe replacements - replaced the gas cap and Purge Valve. But the CEL is back with the P0442 code. Next up is the DTML pump. Any idea what's the procedure for this and part number for a 2015MY LR4? -

I got the fedoro pads from fcp euro as well. Rotor still genuine. I changed them myself and it squeals. I've driven less than 1k miles since replacement, hoping it'll stop soon.
