2018 D5. I have a second set of factory wheels with OEM TPMS for winter with snows. Worked great last year.
Just swapped them this year and the auto reset is not working. Does anyone know what tool I can use to reset them? Does the gap tool work for this? The only thing I see it mentioning is...
Anyone running a smaller wheel for winter? Looking for an OEM set of black 19” wheels to run with a delicates snow tire.
Also wondering if 19s will clear the bigger front Brembo’s?
Randomly this weekend our rig started having an intermittent charging system fault. The alternator was replaced about 1.5 years ago with an OEM unit. I checked the voltage and both the battery and alternator seem to be working in spec.
Pulled codes and these are the following.

The front left interior parking sensor on my rig is shorting to fault. Looking to swap it but I can see how the heck you do other than pull the entire freaking bumper cover which does not look like any fun... at all.
Anyone change one?
For those trying to help me here on this thread I have an intermediate issue - http://www.landroverworld.org/threads/suspension-fault-c1a36-01.29216/
The rear of my car will not go down and is now in super extended mode. Anyone know how to get it down? Im trying the service/test on the Gap tool...

Anyone see my other thread on the alternator going out.
The truck is in now in immobilized status. Any tips on how to get it out????
IIDtool won't reset it for some reason.
Hello gents!
Looking for some input here. Its been a bitter cold winter in the PNW. In the last week I have acquired a whining noise on my 2011 V8. I am thinking its probably the alternator bearings. Interested to hear your feedback.
Gentlemen. I just returned from a hunting trip and I am now rethinking how I "use" my iPhone 7 in the LR4. While out (LR4 and camper for base camp) we took a buddies F150 into the backcountry mostly and we used maps etc on our phones all the time. He used a mount for his iPhone 7 - this Kenu...
I just rolled over 83k and my OEM bushings on the LCAs were failing. First I experienced the seeping oil out of the bushings... then came wheel wobble and clunking etc etc.
After a bit of research I decided to go with the Poly Bushings on both the front and rear of the LCA's. Also opted to...
Having a weird PDC issue on my 11.
Yesterday the PDC hung up while pulling out of a parking spot at my local REI and then afterwords the system would not work. Figured it was just some dirt on the sensor as its been raining here for days and everything is pretty dusty dirty. Once home I and...

Hey guys.. seen a lot of brake threads here but none specifically speak of (that I can find) Akebono Ceramic Pads.
Anyone running them?
How is the bite vs OEM?
My goal is to keep OEM cold stopping power but decrease wear on rotors. Who's isnt right? :bandit:
Starting with my rears. Doing...
I have a set of slightly used K&N Air Filters in perfect condition. Save yourself $50 if your going this direction.

Had the chance today to change the barometric pressure sensor on my LR4. She had thrown a MAP sensor code with CEL twice so I figured I would just go ahead and change it.
DIY is as follows.
Tools needed -
- Flat Head Screwdriver
- 20mm Torx Bit Screwdriver
- Gloves (if your a clean freak)...
Received a check engine light yesterday. Pulled the code and it was Manifold Absolute Pressure / Barometric Pressure Sensor / Range Performance.
Anyone had these sensors go bad? Rig feels great just the CEL. Im guessing one or both could be on the way out.
I had to settle for a non HD 2011 in my search. :ahhhhh:
Im wondering if anyone with a non HD package has added a full size spare to their LR4. Everything should be the same with the spare mount correct? Just the actual wheel and tire I presume.
