Protection bar fitting
Before I drill this anyone have experience fitting the VPLAP0022 protection bar? There are two patterns. I’m guessing one for LR3 and other for LR4 as they are a little different and call for different bit sizes when drilling. I know the bar is basically just for looks. Had it painted... -
Compressor running
Rebuilt my Hitachi compressor and mounted it back up today. The desiccant was white had not turned into a rock or broken apart into dust yet. Pretty sure this is the first time its been serviced at 107K. There were no suspension issues prior but I wanted to change the desiccant and it snowballed... -

adaptive lighting warning lamp
The warning indicator light on the dash has illuminated on a couple mornings with below freezing temperatures but clears after a engine restart. Engine cover
Other than looks does the plastic engine cover have any functional purpose? I'm a little strange but after getting home from a long trip I raise the hood in an effort to minimize heat soak. The plastic cover just seems to trap the heat in even longer. JD -
Disco 4 owner again!

Warranty
My extended warranty is up at the first of the year. I am a little leary being soo far away from a dealership with no coverage and all the possible repairs left up to me. Have the 2010 LUX with 50k miles and had zero issues with it. Does anyone know if an extended warranty package is available... -
First Post!
Post Number 1 I traded in my Sliver Star M class yesterday for the LR. Travled down to Bob Moore LR in OKC. Enjoyed the service there and will go back. Parts had to order my splash guards and should be here next week. Found this site and joined right up. I have been a Dodge Diesel guy...- JDiehl
