May be late model LR3 v8 is the sweet spot?
Owned my 08 HSE for 8yrs now and it seems to be wearing very well indeed. 150+ miles. Its on the original exhaust, starter, alternator etc. Engine still seems quiet, no drop off in power or mpg that i can detect. Does not use any oil at all. Yes it's had regular 5w40 synthetic oil. Tranny fine... -

Land rover hitch adaptor alternative

Later spare tire winch and full size spare.. is it better?

Land Rover oil filter seal leaks
I had oil leak from new land rover OEM filter shortly after an oil change on my LR3. The filter was tight but still leaking. I am told by a knowledgeable Land Rover mechanic that this is not unusual. The rubber seal they use is a bit skimpy. He recommends using Bosch filters. May be Land...
