2013 AC not cold - Refrigerant pressure good - Not intermittant

I just purchased a 2016 LR4 and am having the exact same issue. Semi-cold air blowing of driver's side on max cold, but warmer air blowing out of passenger side. Haven't had time to fiddle with it yet as I'm still working on getting the vehicle titled. Was hoping to look at some actuator and...

    Help!! Suspension fault

If you're getting an amber suspension warning icon and the car won't allow you to adjust the adjust the ride height, but the car still rides at normal height, then it could be something simple as an alignment issue. If you KNOW that you're leaking air, then that's something different and you...

    Control Module question :)

If the error is coming back after clearing it with the IID tool, then the problem isn't fixed. :(

    PHX area ZF shop?

Cool pics! And thanks for the backfill on your "adventure"... even if it is a job. :) As far as your cross-articulation error, I would bet anything that it's a calibration issue. Calibrating only two wheels is definitely a no-no. If you spend 45 mins or so and do the full calibration, I...

    PHX area ZF shop?

I'm no help at all here, but I want stories... lots of stories. Where is the writeup?

    Squeaky fan motor-glove box removal

You don't have to pull the lower glove box. Just remove the kick panel below the glove box (make sure you disconnect the light wire... don't forget he light is there before you pull the trim off). Then, I think it's easiest to remove the footwell duct, but it may be possible to take the blower...

Which parts suppliers are good for the LR3 here?

There are many dealers who mark down off of the retail price. However, if you're ordering something large and bulky and also something very expensive, it might pay to go form a relationship with your local dealer. I've found that if you just ask for a discount, they are likely to give you one...

    Transmission Failsafe Prog

Could be that the fluid level is too low or it could be that the fluid isn't being cooled properly. Quite often around your mileage the radiators on these things plug up or develop a lot of sediment at the bottom. This blocks the flow of coolant into the transmission oil cooler and the only...

    Transmission Failsafe Prog

Does this happen when first starting out with a cold engine/transmission or does it only happen after they heat up? The reason I ask is because the transmission has a failsafe shift pattern that it defaults to whenever the fluid temperature gets too hot. Basically, the shift pattern will not...

    Silly windshield wiper question.

I would assume that the LR4 wiper arms will fit without issue considering the newest part numbers for the wiper arms are LR038124 and LR038120 and are listed as being for both the LR3 and LR4.

    Bigger Spare Wheel

I'm confused as to what size your RRS tire is. First you said 255/50/19 then 255/60/19. Either way, neither will work. Well, technically, they will allow the car to roll, but you'll get an air suspension bong and drop to your bump stops. You will also probably get a terrain response error...

    Bigger Spare Wheel

You can use a 255/55/19 for a spare, but a 255/50/19 will be too small. I would also be wary about using the RRS wheel because the LR3 has higher weight ratings on its wheels. If you're strictly keeping it on road, it will probably be fine, but just know that the RRS sport wheels are not rated...

Burning smell after a snowy drive

I smell the same thing in deep snow when I'm pushing it, but haven't been able to determine whether it's spinning tires (don't think so), the transfer case or differential, or something else. I was thinking perhaps the transfer case or rear diff because they contain the clutch packs and that's...

    265 65 18 Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac

Jwest and Houm - what do you guys do for a spare with 275/65r18s? It's my understanding that it's possible to still wedge a deflated 265/65r18 up into the spare tire well, but not the 275/65/18. True? If so, do you carry a spare on the back or up top?

    Where's the leak?

Just saw this post over on the disco3 board this morning. You may want to keep an eye on it to see if there are any responses. Seems like your issue may be similar? http://www. disco3. co.uk /forum/topic140931.html

    Where's the leak?

Hmm, I'm not sure where you've seen that the fusible link should be replaced with a 70A link. I've never heard of that, though it may be out there somewhere. I would be wary of "upping" the fuse rating though since the wiring was chosen with a specific max current in mind from the factory...

    Where's the leak?

Land Rover wiring diagram shows that it should be 60A. My guess is that it blew and the mechanic (or previous owner) just replaced it with whatever they had on hand. Doubt it has anything to do with your issues, but I would replace it with a 60A when you have time.

    Where's the leak?

The other thing that I would check is your reservoir valve block and pressure sensor as well as the wiring going to it. This valve block has to function correctly in order to vent pressure from the reservoir back to the exhaust valve in the compressor. The reservoir valve block is located just...

    Nav Touchscreen; Intermittant failures

Do you think the screen bezel might be putting pressure on some point around the screen? If the screen thought it was already being touched, then it wouldn't register your finger. Don't know how you'd fix that though.

    Where's the leak?

Wish I could help there. I know what it looks like on the Hitachi (kind of a pancake looking thing), but not sure on the AMK.

    Where's the leak?

That's the battery vent hose. Should be hooked up to the battery vent port unless you have an AGM battery, in which case you don't need it. Oh, and the connector is normal. It's blanked off in mine too. Can't remember what it is. It's either for the auxiliary lights or the smog/pollution...

    Where's the leak?

I was rereading your post and trying to put things together, but not sure I have any great ideas. The one thing I would say is that if your system IS venting, then that probably means that the exhaust valve and pilot exhaust valve are functioning correctly. I mean, if it wasn't venting at all...

    Where's the leak?

Bearish, The exhaust valve and the pilot exhaust valve are both located on the compressor body itself. If you want to PM me your e-mail address, I can send you as much material as I have on the system. Below is a description of each pulled from the LR material. Pilot Exhaust Valve A solenoid...

Compressor Mod - use it for tires?

Oddly enough, the EAS doesn't read the "tank pressure" per se, but it reads the system pressure through a sensor mounted along with the compressor. There is no actual sensor on the tank. Nitpicking, but it may help somebody in the future who can't find the pressure sensor on the tank. :)

Compressor Mod - use it for tires?

It's been asked before, but I think the general consensus is that the EAS compressor is designed for small quantities of air at high pressures. Your tires are the opposite. They need relatively large quantities of air at low pressures. I don't think the EAS compressor duty cycle would be up...
