Hi all, the question is this. Conventional wisdom dictates to put your less-used tyres (ATs in this case) on the rear axle, as that's where our LR4s are heavier. But I've also heard that, when on asphalt, 70% of the effort goes to the front axle. I'm not sure if that applied to "your usual 4x4"... -

Re: Cooper Discoverers, I would strike a difference between AT3 and Maxx. I've owned both, albeit my AT3s were 19" and the Maxxs are 18". I did indeed **** the sidewall on a rear 19" when deflated (a rocky mountain path), but the 18s seem super strong, and durable too. I drove 25K miles or so on... -
