Picked up my LR3 in June 2015 and it looked like this:

Smoke side markers, Aries step bars (hey my wife and I are short and need help climbing in), cross bars and Rola roof rack, tail light protectors, 19" black LR wheels and now it looks like this:

There was a guy showing this http://www.carnaviplayer.com/land-rover-discovery-3-aftermarket-navigation-head-unit-p-915 on LandRoverForums.com. It fits in the hole where the OEM Nav unit would have been. It sounds good but I don't know of anyone who has installed one.
Then you haven't met me. LOL! You close enough to get to any of the games? We're season ticket holders for Men's & Women's Basketball, Men's & Women's Soccer and Football. If you're ever at a home football game let me know. You can tailgate with us.
I would check the control arms, tie rods and wheel bearings. I've had to replace all three. The LCA's and the tie rod ends before my trip to Hilton Head for my daughter's wedding and the bearing assemblies after we got back. That and a wedding made for a very expensive 2015. :)
Sounds like wheel bearings to me. Mine was doing the same thing and I had new hubs and bearings installed and the noise went away. I bought the Timkin ones from British Atlantic. I found them on another web site cheaper and they matched the price plus took an additional 5% off.
