    Evaporative Emissions Canister

Thanks for the help. Finally got the motor out. I cleared the codes and drove around for a little bit. How long would you say it takes for the system to stop reading the error code? S The three screws on the motor take a T20 torx Bit. The two cannister screws take a 10mm rachet piece.

    Evaporative Emissions Canister

Hello, I need to replace the Evap Leak Detector motor behind the spare tire. I'm able to remove the two bolts holding the canister and three hoses, but the unit is too big to get past the spare tire carrier. What's the easiest way to get this canister out so I can replace the motor? Thanks for...

DII Tail Door Not Opening From Inside Fix

I just fixed this issue, so I thought I'd post it. Could not open my tail door from the outside nor the inside. I used the WD40 fix from the outside to get the exterior handle unstuck, and that worked fine. But I could not open the door from the interior still. Took the interior trim off and...

    Unknown Plug located

The wires don’t seem long enough to reach the door connector area. I’m wondering if this is a spare connector you can cut and repair if needed?

    Unknown Plug located

Found this plug. It's fully wired and taped back onto one of the main wire bundles that goes into the fuse box near the drivers side floor. Any idea is this was for an optional add-on? Could find the plug in the electrical book. Thx S

Disco II - P0741 Error Code

Update: Took my vehicle into my local mechanic. They could see a drop in RPMs in 4th gear. So I was getting to 4th gear, which is good. I don't think anyone will take my transmission apart to fix the torque converter. So, I'll drive it until I get major fault with the transmission. Then, swap...

Disco II - P0741 Error Code

My 2002 Discovery II drives well, but when on the freeway it won't get into 4th gear. Eventually got this error code: P0741. I also got P0705 error code. My transmission drives well, so does this mean it's a less costly fix? Thx S

    2006 RR No CDL Lock

My friend has a 2006 RR Supercharged. He showed me the 4x4 screen on the Nav. It didn't show the open lock which signifies the Center Diff. Is this an error? All RR came with CDLs that year. Thx Sean

    Disco II Wiper Blade Sizes

I found this answer on another website. Anyone can weigh in. "D1 = 18inch & D2 = 21inch, so put the proper size on for whichever vehicle you have the D1 arms installed on."

    Nanocom or IIDTool?

Connecting to my DII would be nice, but you are right about the limits. Only thing is I need the BCU synced to my odometer, after I changed the lightbulbs in the instrument panel. Would the dealer do that for me? I do have two LR4s and my bother has one. The Nanocom gives me access to all of...

    Installing Roof Rails

Thank for the help. I did the best I could clearing the holes. Ended up buying new M6 1.0-16mm bolts which are a hair shorter than the OEM. Worked well. The OEMs are M6 1.0-20mm sized for anyone who needs to know. Thanks Sean
