I recently re-purchased the exact 2009 LR3 that I bought brand new in 2009 and later sold. It had made a trip across the country and we ran into it a few weeks ago, parked at some random motel. I traded it for an old Pathfinder.
It's in great shape, but has one issue where the nav and radio will intermittently not turn on.
It also needs a compressor which I'll be replacing tomorrow and displays a red suspension fault icon, along with the message "system fault special programs not available".
I've checked all of the wiring and harnesses that I can see and they all look clean and tight.
Would the intermittent radio and nav issue perhaps be due to a software glitch that needs rebooting?
