2011 LR4 Headlight Upgrade to Facelift Xenons...

Hello! Doing some research but unable to get a clear answer on this. With the Gap tool, I should be able to fit the facelift style xenons on my 2011 LR4 with halogens, correct? Does it matter if the headlamps are adaptive or not? (I have the facelift grille from powerfuluk with spacer on hand) I want to pull the trigger on a couple ebay listings but they are kinda spendy and want to confirm this experiment will work before i do!

I'm under the impression that it doesn't matter about adaptive. You won't be able to activate the adaptive function without extra complication, but they should work otherwise.

And when I make the xenon changes to the ECU with the Gap tool, I should have the battery on a charger? Any tips?

I've never had to do that. The GAP Tool checks for battery health and won't rewrite any files if the battery health is poor.
