Hello Everyone
Selling a cosmetically pristine, highly desirable Orkney Gray Metallic 2012 Land Rover LR4 with 150,000 miles. Clean title in hand
Like many of you, my obsession with Land Rovers started early. My very first car back in the '90s was a right-hand drive Series IIA.
In 2021, I jumped back into the family and bought this 2012 LR4 with 120k miles for $16,000. Since then, I’ve poured another $10,000 into maintenance and repairs to keep it in shape. Unfortunately, the gearbox has just started acting up. It shifts into Reverse fine, but almost never goes into Drive. On the rare occasion it does engage Drive, it slips into Neutral after a few miles and leaves me with only Reverse.
Oddly enough, the scanner isn't throwing any error codes. I simply don’t have the time or bandwidth to diagnose the issue right now, so I have reluctantly decided to part ways with it and sell it strictly as-is.
THE GOOD ($10,000+ Recent Maintenance):
This truck is in very good condition outside of the transmission issue. The body is clean, big scratch-free, and rust-free. The engine runs beautifully. Over the last few years, the vehicle was heavily maintained with OEM parts from Atlantic British :
I appreciate any helpful advice or input you can offer. Thanks!
