2012 LR4 Rear Ladder Rusting

At what point of rusting should I remove and or replace the Ladder? What is an estimated cost of removal and or replacement?

It’s actually pretty easy to remove. You have to remove the inside tailgate panel and then you have immediate access to about 6 bolts (I forget what size) and then the outside tailgate panel with the license plate light comes off as does the ladder. Just reinstall the panel and your good.
