Well as everyone and everything was pointing to the Fuel Rail Sensor, I ordered this. Yeah, it's a Bosch part, so ordered one from EBay. No joy. When installed it maxed out the voltage to 5 with rail pressure of 19990 KpA. Got a fuel rail sensor fault on diagnostic. Unhooked it, and nothing change; 5 volts and same pressure. As though it wasn't there. Now as a Air Force tech, I have seen many new parts fail on installation, so no biggy. contacted seller and asked for a new one. And I also ordered another from Amazon with express shipping. Same bloody thing. Bit the bullet and contacted my local LR dealer. 250 dollars later, and new snags. Now all pointing to the high pressure fuel pump (or Direct Fuel Injection pump) which at LR would cost well over 450 dollars. I was thinking about ordering online, and was researching this part. When I found it, it showed all these Fords that it was compatible with. So this morning off to the nearest Pick A Part auto salvage to look at Focus', Edges, Escapes, and Police Interceptors. 2014 Ford Escape for the win. The exact same part for the LR2. Even the sound proofing was better than mine. Came home slightly apprehensive, but in less then a half hour, it was installed. Cleared the previous codes and ran the auto-diag. No codes; started it, no check engine light. Fuel pressure and voltages all holding up. Took it for a ****** test drive, low speeds......no code. Needed a couple thing at the store, so another test drive on highway.....no codes. 2014 Ford Escape saved the 2013 LR2's owner at least 400 dollars at 46 dollars for two (grabbed another just in case)......No codes.

So happy when I got home as it was fast, reactive, and smooth. Farging ecstatic. Then the LR2 had to remind me that we are never done with maintenance. The Restricted Traction warning came on, in the driveway, reminding me that I will need to also replace the pump and filter on the Haldex system. Why do we own Land Rovers, and I have two. The other is a 2010 LR4 HSE.

I'll still take the win though. I can still drive in 2-wheel drive.

I've found lots of parts from Volvo V70, S60, and the XC 70 work on my 2011 LR2. Same 3.2 V6 in all. Ford owned em then, and I've found FoMoCo stamps and emblems on a few parts as well. Thanks for the info on the Escape. Hadn't thought of that model.
