I'll try to keep this brief. Bought a 2018 Discovery about a year and a half ago. 6 months into the purchase, the windshield started leaking, dealt with that for about 3 weeks. Parking it in the garage. Mostly had a couple of incidents with random rain and some leaking. Got that taken care of. 3 weeks ago my wife was on the way to work and the cluster and infotainment went black. Car ran fine all the way to work when she parked and cut it off it wouldn't crank again. Several hours go by. She calls AAA they show up the jump start of the car and it cranks right up. In between she gets in a low speed fender bender backing into a car, minimal damage, just some pushed in plastics, and a slight bend on the driver side exhaust. 2 days ago same thing happens on the way home from work, screens go out. She gets all the way home parks in the garage. Same result except now it's not cranking back up.
Here's the codes I'm getting -
BCM
State: Permanent - J201B-54
CHCM
State: Intermittent - J0046-81
State: Intermittent - J0046-87
State: Historic - J0046-82
State: Historic - C1130-66
I had SODR and SODL faults as well, after unplugging the sensors that goes away. I've also changed the battery, eliminating that issue. The only other strange thing is the R2 relay (has a fan symbol) in the under hood fuse box keeps actuating every few minutes while the battery is connected.
I'm preparing to get to the BCM in the passenger footwell now.
Any guidance would be appreciated
