2020 Range Rover Valet mode CarPlay issue

Full size 2020 Range Rover when placed in valet mode and car is returned to owner, a phone that has been paired with CarPlay and previously functional will not work when connected to the cable.

In fact even if car is turned off and restarted and/or CarPlay device is forgotten and repaired, CarPlay still does not recognize the phone.

The car has to sit for some period of time perhaps hours for CarPlay to work again.

Anyone else with this issue. Land Rover states no one has ever complained about it.

Very lackadaisical response from the manufacturer.

Dealership has reproduced this issue in all their late model vehicles.
