The potholes along the right side of the roads have been brutal this winter. I had this annoying rattle at the passenger side rear d-pillar. So today I noticed a hole where the rear speaker used to be. The cover fell off and the speaker was gone. So apparently it was the rear speaker rattling loose. I pulled off that rear panel to retrieve the speaker and detach it from its wiring.

Not sure how to fix this yet. Looks like the cover was plastic welded to the speaker with the rear panel in the middle. The plastic tabs that held the cover to the speaker all broke loose. Only fix may be to glue the 3 pieces together.

No, it's a 2013 so Harman Kardon. Speaker looks cheap and generic. Maybe I'll see if I can replace both sides with something better.

Thank you for the JB Weld advice...perfect solution.
