Any recommendations for an independent Mechanic in Pasadena or surrounding areas?

Hi - I have an LR3 which runs great. I am looking to do

1. A routine oil change without having to pay for “full inspection and checks”. I can even bring the oil and oil filter for the mechanic

2. My coolant indicator is not functioning. I am told on other forums it’s a pretty common issue and I can order parts from British Atlantic and it’s a quick fix. Also, won’t I need to get it fixed before smog test?
