I acquired my 2015 Lr4 in July of 2025. Although well maintained it came with a series of "anomalies". Some non-critical like blind spot detection not working, front cameras not working. Some uncomfortable, like a very harsh ride and some concerning like the smell of coolant and coolant loss.

As the saying goes "with some help from my friends" on this forum and the folks at Gap, I began correcting the anomalies.

Having completed the last anomaly, replacing the lower control arm, this vehicle rides and runs great!

I still carry the IID tool and another OBD II scanner in the vehicle "just in case" but after about 3,000 more miles since the last repair, I'm pleased. I enjoy driving it.

Of course, with this post I may have now jinxed my good fortune :adore:.

Thanks to the folks on this forum and the folks at Gap!!!

Well, it happened!

A day after I posted this, I was driving on the highway in strong winds as well and the plastic trim on the driver's side windshield pillar came loose and fortunately did not depart from the car. It was caught at the bottom. I was able to roll down the window and hold it in place until I could get off the highway! Didn't have any duct tape with me!!!

No big thing. I went on Amazon and ordered replacement trim pieces for both sides for $79. They also included new clips as well. Looks brand new!

Have a link for the trim pieces you ordered? Im getting a bunch of wind noise coming from around the windshield. I probably need to start replacing stuff to see if I can get it quieter again.
