Recently had my 2011 LR4's Bluetooth control module diagnosed as dead. It manifested itself by affecting the whole infotainment system with speaker static and disabled touch screen buttons. Dealer said the part was on back order so I poked around interwebs and found it on ebay. Is this a pretty straight forward fix/ replacement? I know that the location sits behind the passenger back seat and have confirmed there is no window leak that caused the initial failure. Fuses all good too. Just plain old 13 year old truck BS. I'm really hoping I can swap this out myself!

Its true, the bluetooth modules. are known to give up the ghost.
And as the system works off a ring network (MOST), correct, the entire infotainment system would be affected.
