My brakes are squeeeeeeking really loud all of the time. I try to ride them soft, but no luck. Does anyone know what the deal could be? The brakes are not even a year old!

  1. Something between pad and rotor
  2. Glazed rotors from "riding them soft"
  3. Bad pads
  4. Bad rotors
  5. Some/all of the above
You're gonna need some brake work. Get an estimate done on what needs replacing at a brake shop, and then either buy the parts yourself and self-repair or have someone do it. Pads/shoes and rotors are historically pretty easy swaps on Rovers...

What year truck do you have? Is it under warranty?

Maybe I will just throw some new brakes on. Anyone know where to get some cheap ones (good inexpensive ones)?

You have one of two things going on that could cause your noise.
Glazed rotors or after market pads.
Have you recently changed your pads?
