This is the second time I do the diff and transfercase (119K miles now). For the differentials used Castrol Syntrax, transfercase used Royal Purple SYNCHROMAX, which according to their website is a match of the Shell TF0753 that is listed in the shop manual. Rear was easy, the removed 1.2L which just happens to match the fill port hole, so didnt have to measure back in, just fill to drip.
The transfercase was easier by removing the ground strap, then I can swing the bottle up and pour into the fill hole, fill to overflow as well.
The front diff measured 600ml removed, so used one of these graduated funnels with front tire removed, measured about 620ml and pour into funnel, then openned funnel to fill. Added the extra 20ml as some will be left behind in initial bottle and then the funnel, pesky viscocity....
