The following warning lamp comes up and sometimes I cannot start the car. It clicks and doesn't start but gives power to the car. Works when I get a boost as a worst case scenario unless I wait 5 minutes and then start it again.

Does anyone know what to do? This is a new battery, not 1 year old.

Let your battery go untouched by any charging (including running the engine!) for 6 hours. most choose overnight.
If it reads 12.4v or less, its done. Replace it.
Also check that your generator (alternator in north american terms) is sufficiently charging the battery.

At 158k kms, I’m hopeful you’ve changed your belts.
