Need some info pls....
I just purchased a 2015 LR4 HSE Luxury Rover and was wondering what the components are under the drivers seat? Once first purchasing it, I thought I saw some sort of metal box on the left (while facing the front of the vehicle), with a heavy cord going to it from a slit in the carpet under the seat. There is also a metal box on the right side. After taking the vehicle in for service, I noticed that the left bracket was empty (no metal box there anymore). When questioning my repair shop, I was told nothing goes there and that is normal.
It appears as some sort of bracket, and because this is my 3rd lr4, my memory may remember a past rig. Is something supposed to be in this bracket and why is it there? (Or is my memory mush??!) I have a pic but don’t know how to attach to my message here.
