Picked up all new plugs, belts & water pump.

Deviated from JLR for an aluminum rear crossover from Euro-Amp.

Aluminum Tstat housing from Rock Auto

Aluminum oil cooler tube from FCP Euro

OEM hoses from Atlantic British

Hope this goes well!

Curious as to your thoughts on the aluminum rear crossover, good luck with the install!

I’ll give it a great review once I get this stubborn fan off…

I did a similar mix and match.
Ebay rear two years ago on the 2010, and euro amp last spring on the 2012. Both running fine with aluminum rear. 29k on 2010' aluminum one, and about 9k on euro amp one in 2012. I saw no difference int the two.

For the fam clutch nut:

Inductive heat and two guys with 2 cheater pipes was the winning ticket.

If the air hammer doesn’t work, I highly recommend doing the inductive heating method With a couple of 3 foot cheater pipes and one guy on each side, straining as hard as they can. Broke loose second try

YOU DON'T NEED TO TAKE THE FAN OFF for the crossover project !!!
(Unless doing the radiator).
This is true for both the V8 and the V6.

Here it is on the V6, skip to 1:35:20 for the water pump removal.
Same clearances on the V8 - I have done them both.

If you go to my YouTube Channel you can find the video for the V8 and in that video I discuss the Rover Wrenches for removing the fan - again- not needed!

I’ve watched your video for inspiration! Also in the Houston area (Montgomery)

Backside coolant ports were crusty! Sanded them for about an hour with 1000 grit and now they’re smooth.

Created a “bed” with 2x4’s to lay across the engine bay. Made working on the rear crossover somewhat comfortable.
