hi folks. I’m new to my Disco 12 5.0. Coming from a 2500 Silverado.

Has anyone tried the cooper stmaxx in 265 60 r18?

Thanks for choosing to be you, instead of welcoming.

Thanks! I saw that thread but I’m not interested in doing the cut and grinding that fella did. I was hoping anyone else had some deets. Just looking for fresh thoughts

Your biggest question will be what 18" wheels you want to run, and how you're going to run them.

That's the only reason the guy in the linked thread had to grind anything: to fit the wheels over the calipers.

Yup. And if you have to cut or trim the housing you’ve gone too big on the wheel size.

I'm running them, awesome tires and the perfect size for the LR4.

Sweet. What wheels are you running?

I just bought Michelin’s for my 19’s. I’m not in a hurry, and I’m thinking of giving it a bit to see if the mudtech’s come available stateside.

I'm running BMW style 99 wheels. My local land rover shop (roadside werx) recently started sourcing steel 18s to fit a lr4 that look pretty good. Not sure of the brand.
