Cracked windshield in new 2020 Velar

My name is Tami Moog. I bought a new Range Rover Velar 4 months ago. Just the other day I noticed the windshield is cracked at the base of the window. It looks like a rock hit it, but I never heard anything. It has a heated windshield. I read numerous reports of stress fractures happening in these heated windshields. Has anyone else had this happen in a 2020 Velar at the base?

I have seen on here several accounts now of cracked windshields. The first one was a couple years ago and the person who mentioned it was very surprised I hadn't heard of this issue.

It sadly happens, you can try and have it inspected by a windshield replacement company and see if they can determine the issue, this may help get a replacement if it is determined to not have been a rock.
