I have another cracked windshield on the Land Rover. This makes the third windshield on as many cars that has cracked. On the first two windshields, Land Rover feigned surprise and astonishment saying “They’d never seen anything like this before.” Apparently, they don’t check their forum because it happens all. The. Time.
this windshield had three rock chips from the tiny, teeniest stones on the highway. It has less that 17k and it’s not like I derive it in a rock storm.
Pilkington makes a flawed
Product. These windshields crack at the tiniest impact that would have no effect on any other car. They break clear across the windshield, making them a safety issue. Land Rover knows this and keeps turning it over to owner’s insurance rather than taking care of the problem.
the even refuse to examine it under warranty as a manufacturers defect. Very disturbing as it’s clearly unsafe.
