I found it, it is right on top of the bell housing (top of the transmission where the engine connects). It is secured with a single 8mm bolt and my method of gaining access was to remove the inner half of (what I believe to be) the secondary battery box on the drivers side and reach the back of the motor. A 4" 1/4" ratchet and a short socket worked fine. The connector is a "push in", just feel for the obtruded side, push the button and it should release with little effort. Any questions? leave a comment and I will update this post.
Hey I removed the parts required in the 3 pictures but I can’t find the stupid crankshaft sensor. I even pulled the skid plates off and tried from the bottom. I have a 2006 LR3 V6. I’m losing my mind. Can anyone help me find this sensor.
