Who else has had rough and porous fender flares on their Discovery 2?

I’m curious if there is a way to repair/fix them.

For those that may have replaced them with an aftermarket option, which did you choose?

Great idea!

When comes to grit, do you have a suggestion?

Oh yeah, is there a specific brand of plastic paint that you would recommend?

Depends on how bad they are, but it is plastic, so I am sure you don't want to use too low a grit (i.e. 40 grit unless it is real bad) either way start heavy to light so several grits. Paint - Autozone sells VHT Black Plastic High Heat paint (overkill for this job, but...).
