Discovery 4 audio static burst!

I have a 2010 Discovery 4. The stereo will randomly give a short burst of static which knocks out the Radio, DAB, CD and Portable Audio for a couple of seconds. It recovers then eventually comes a huge burst of static which can only be silenced by switching the engine off, locking and unlocking the car.
I have tried replacing the amplifier under the drivers seat with no effect.
Disconnected the battery over night with no effect.
Unplug the amplifier and the problem doesn’t occur but the touchscreen just displays Land Rover logo.
Any help or advice greatly appreciated!

I have this very same problem. Has anyone found a fix for this maybe????
