What format of dvd/video does the range rover play. I have a 2012 and its having trouble playing some formats. eg: AVI, .MOV. ect.

I have a 2013 LR4 with rear seat entertainment.
I have used http://www.savevid.com to download youtube videos to mp4 format in ~720p res, and then used Divx Converter to change them to the "Home Theater" quality (AVI, DIvx, MP3/ac3 ~720p) and it plays on my front screen. I can not however seem to play that video on the rear screens, only aux and dvd... which sucks.
Using higher resolution settings in divx converter seems to make it choke a bit. Some wont play at all.
Land Rover uses certified DivX player software, so that is why I explored just using divx's own software to get my video files.

Hi, new to the forum so Hello. I have just purchased a 2011 Vogue and I wrongly assumed it came equipped with a DVD player. I have tried every format to play a video via USB but I have been unsuccessful. I can play music via usb but not video. If someone could also recommend a aftermarket unit.Any advice would be most welcome.
