Bad chains at 54K miles? That's really bad luck. Out of curiosity, what were the oil change intervals ?

Would like to have some more info from the OP. From this thread it seems no single problem has actually been confirmed. HP Fuel Pump replacement didn't fix the ticking. Did timing chain replacement? Also was it a confirmed bearing failure? Ticking sound is tough to know without more details. HP fuel pumps make noise on the 5.0 V8 and the 3.0 SCV6, especially when cold. Supercharger makes rattling/ticking noise if the isolator hasn't been fixed. Fuel injectors are loud on this car. Hope to hear more.
