Engine Shuts Off

I recently purchased a 2017 Discovery Sport HSE w/low miles. I have had the following issues....stopped at a light foot on the brake. Car goes into park and turns off on it's own. I restart and move on. 20 days later...I'm backing up into a parking space. Put my foot on the brake and the car goes into park and turns off. Did I buy a LEMON!! Car's at the dealer today. I'm thinking about writing a "Lemon Letter".
Any thoughts?

Wasn't aware that lemon laws applied to used cars. Depends on whether you bought it "as is" or not, but I'd try to get it fixed before starting a letter writing campaign.

Yeah, lemon letter is a bit premature here. And like jptruck said Probably don’t apply to used cars anyway. Hope it’s an easy fix!
