I had my passenger front air strut replaced at the dealer about 6 years ago. I always thought it was an OEM air strut until i diagnosed it the other day and found out that it’s a firestone air strut? Since when does firestone make air struts for our trucks? I did some research online and they don’t have any products offered for LR4s....i’m kinda confused here. Here are some pics.

I just replaced one of my struts (with a gently used OEM replacement) and the replacement had a Firestone label on it.

I was suprised to see this as well, but all the other signs of it being OEM were there....part number, manufacture date stamp, Land rover embossed in the shock body...

Yeah the strut itself is OEM, but the airbag is firestone. I entered the part number on the airbag and did extensive research online and found no indication of Firestone ever making any airbags that fit any Land rover...it’s so weird.
