Hello everyone, I am currently in the process of attempting to replace the fluids to the front and rear differential and also to change my oil. I have a Td6 engine. I have always changed the fluids on all of my vehicles. My father and my grandfather were my mechanics so I learned quite a bit and I actually enjoy doing this and I feel like we become more attached and fall in love with our cars when we pour our hands to them. That being said, does anyone know where the front and rear coolant replacement plugs are? Does anyone have a schematic that they would be willing to share? Can someone also please guide me towards the oil filter of the engine so that I can replace that as well, if somebody has a schematic for that as well it would be greatly appreciated? If you know exactly where you can guide me there I won’t need the schematic. Everyone’s help is greatly appreciated.

I know nothing about the Disco 5.

But note that on the LR4 (Disco 4) front and rear differentials are NOT filled to the filler plug level. They are filled BY VOLUME.
Also Front and rear and locking rear all use different fluids.
Service interval on the front and rear is 10 yrs/150K miles, locking read is 5yrs/75K miles.
This information is from the service manual.

SO be sure to do your homework before beginning.

The oil filter sits in the valley of the engine. I use an 1" 1/4 socket to remove the filter cap.
Nothing special about the oil change.
