Headlight issues

I have a 2014 Range Rover Sport autobiography Edition and sometimes my passenger headlight does not turn on and sometimes it does I'm wondering if it's a bad bulb going out or is it a bad ballast

Sounds more like a ground issue. Normally if a bulb or ballast it will not be intermittent. If a ground issue it can and will reduce the life of the system.
