Hello, and HELP!?
LR dealership replaced my 2016 Evoque's windshield a couple of years ago after a major water leak (N221).
It started leaking again this summer.
I had to seal the windshield area with clear tape until the dealership service appt, per advice from other forums.
They declined to repair or replace under existing bumper-to-bumper warranty/TSB or acknowledge poor workmanship from their 1st windshield replacement.
After I got the car back (with no repairs) I noticed a gap between the windshield and the upper body.
QUESTION:
I know I sound like an idiot, but shouldn't there be a visible rubber seal??
The tape removal didn't strip ANYTHING off when car delivered.
What should that upper area look like??
Pics included don't capture it well, sorry....
BUT there's a significant void in the upper windshield area...(white-ish streaks are tape residue dealership didn't clean off)
