Been lurking for a bit, love the breadth and depth of information shared here. Bought our 2012 LR4 in June 2017, fresh off a timing chain and brake job, with 75k miles. Its main use has been on pavement, as an excellent hauler of our family of 6 - everyone gets a comfortable seat with nice visibility. The self-leveling suspension is gold when we go on road trips and it's loaded up with all of us, a luggage box on top, and bikes hanging off the back. It's excellent in the snow, and this past summer we did a little road trip on US Forestry roads through the Tillamook State Forest, which was beautiful. I'm going to do a bit of work to get it and me ready for more backcountry adventure.
