Hood Clearcoat Peeling

Is there a cover that can be used to cover the hood. The clearcoat is peeling. Looking for alternative to fixing. I've seen trucks that have a black plastic cover on hood.

I would recommend either Plastic dip or get a Vinyl cut to fit.

Watch Plasti-dip, will peel with clearcoat. I would sand off clearcoat then apply.
