I believe our steering rack went out on our 2012 RRS last weekend. The pump started whining and I added some fluid and all was good but by the time we made it a few miles back to the hotel it was starting to whine again. I crawled underneath it and a constant stream of fluid was coming out from the boot by the passenger side tie rod end. We had to leave it in town and get a ride back home. Waiting on an estimate from the repair shop. Is this something that should be left for them to do or is it a DIY type of repair? Any links on how to do this?
