ID Gap tool for multiple LR3s

From my limited research I find that the ID Gap tool is apparently limited to a specific vehicle using the vin number and while I hear great things about the tool I have 2 LR3's. What do multiple LR3 owners use instead of the ID gap?

Add a second VIN for $80. I have a 08 RR HSE and 05 LR3

You can use it on other land Rovers but some functions are limited. Like programming keys for instance.

I just paid the fee extra bucks for additional license.

Thanks to all, ID Gap is the way to go.
Son in Law is a Certified LR Tech but he cant always get them into the shop.
