Key fob

Hey guys, I have lost both keys to my car. I had contacted the dealer and they are trying to sell me a new module saying that they can’t program new keys. Does this sound right? End cost being a few thousand instead of 500-700 for a key fob. Please let me know if anyone has experienced this.

Edited to get rid of the links in that somehow got added to your post.

Sadly this would be about right, they need at least one key depending on the year of the car to program the module.
