Thank you once again Range Rover - This was the hose doesn't fit "bad day" that I had and like an idiot I posted the wrong photo (29th Dec), the next morning I installed the hoses like this, does this look correct (sorry it's not the best photo):

Phew - you had me worrying! Here's the one remaining engine fault that I have... I'm not sure yet that I can tie it to anything? Other threads talk about battery and alternator but why would that suddenly start being an issue when it never was before the timing chains were done? Is there a wire that I've missed or somehow isn't seated properly? Other than this she seems to be running well... (I managed to get my wife to take a ride in it!).

P0232-24 (28) Fuel pump A - secondary circuit high - General signal failure - signal stays high

I clear the fault and it comes back immediately.

That DTC is for the fuel pump driver module. Not sure why you would have issues with it.
Check fuse 1E, 25A in the engine compartment fuse box.

Hi @Rover Range, sorry for the delay in responding, do you mean fuse F1, so the top left one in the following (25A):

I checked all the fuses and they're all OK. I did pull this fuse (F1) while cranking the engine to try and get some oil distributed on the new chains, tensioners, etc. I did this before the very first start of the engine; I then re-installed the fuse and she started up. If I clear the fault it comes back immediately.

Sounds like an issue with the fuel pump driver module.
I checked the locations of the fuel pump driver module circuits , grounds etc.
Nothing close to where you were working. :dontknow:

I'm a little stumped, would it make sense to start a new post on this? I believe the fuel pump driver module is stored at the back of the vehicle? I've not done anything back there other than store parts of the engine while doing the timing chains! Could it be anything to do with the sensor that measures fuel pressure on the bank 1 fuel rail as I did have to disconnect that and I recall it been a real pain in the a$$. It's also really cold here in MI so I'm not overly excited to go outside again! (I paid my dues when doing the timing chains!)

To close the loop on this issue, it ended up being the battery; I started this thread:

Amazing thread! I'm not looking forward to it but I'll be attempting this some time down the road and without all your documentation I'm not sure I'd attempt it.

you did all the work outside of a garage? Did I read that correctly?
