Losing sleep over these...

I lose sleep over a couple of probably preventive maintenance issues. If anyone has comments, experience or forum references to addressing these, I am sure many others along with myself would be thankful

#1 - The rear independent heater core has long metal lines from and back to engine bay, but in the back there are rubber connecting hoses. Mine on 2012 look a bit crusty and wondering if replacing makes sense..or if they tend to be lifetime OK.

#2 - The front A pillar outside black covers I believe are notorious for leaking over time. How hard is it to pop them off and remedy that failure possibility with maybe new clips, sealing better or ???

#3 - My front windshield cowel where it sits on glass is a bit wavy gravy and has gaps all along its length. Is that a big job to replace? Or at this point would just injecting some good silicone clear caulk be a good fix under the entire length. A bit hacky but water incursion really gets me anxious on these cars

dont sweat #1, typically not an issue unless actually damaged.
#2, they are just held on with plastic/nylon clips. they do not leak as windscreen is sealed to a pillars but can "fly" off if multiple clips are broken
#3 the cowl cover nearly always warps and this can create a leak into the passenger footwell--sensitive electronics can be harmed. Replacing is not a big job [30mins at tops], the new cowl is available from numerous sources for like $129 last time i checked.
