hello, writing here because can’t find info that’s correct it seems as to 08 LR2 transmission fill and check so offering up what I figured out
To check level:
Jack up and support with stand and wheel ***** and remove front drivers tire
Remove plastic inner wheel tube over
To right side of trans case you will see a plug facing up at a 45 degree angle that’s the check
Fluid location needs a T55 to remove
As for fill:
Remove air filter box don’t remove MAF sensor attached to top just set a side. Bottom just
Pulls up and out. You will see same kind of plug that needs T55 to remove. Use a knuckle ...Fitting on you racket wrench with extensions.
I read a lot of posts from different places not very helpful this worked easy for me
