LR3 a/c compressor

Help pls.
I want to check that the a/c compressor is turning but I do not know where to locate it.

Please advise...image showing location under bonnet would be good.

Welcome to the forum. Sadly it has been a while since I have looked under the hood of an LR3, take a picture and someone will point to it for you.
