Just bought the misses a 2006 HSE with 78k miles to replace her 200 Ford Excursion V10 lifted and sitting on 35's. She wanted to be able to park in the garage so the Excursion had to go. She loved the Excursion so it was hard to go to something smaller. Tried lots of other SUV's, but she liked the LR3 best. Thanks to this forum, we new what to look for and I have her all fixed up and the boss lady is happy. New cowl (had a water issue, had to pull the seats and carpets to dry it out), new A-pillar outside covers and leak fix, fixed sunroof drains, got a GAP tool, Firestone Destination AT 265 65 R18's (replaced the 19" rims, no rubbing on stock height, no Johnson Rods), control arm bushings are good, air suspension functions perfectly, etc.
Next up is differential and tranny fluid changes. After that, a little off-roading fun in the North Georgia mountains.
Looking forward to learning things on this site as I dive into the truck.
