New LR3 owner from Finland (a lot of text)

    Hello everyone,

    Bought my first Land Rover.
    It is LR3 TDV6 2005 year model, with 350tkm on the clock.

    A little history about me and then about the car.
    I am 24 (in few month) from Finland, Espoo.

    My first car I bought with my summer pay, was BMW E34 (5er) when I was 18
    After one year I sold that and bought BMW E38 (7er) (still have it and probably never will sell it, let my child get it ^^ when he grows up)

    After that I bought one another E38 that had title on it, but only had cracked bumper and headlight,

    I fixed it up, drove winter with it and traded for Seat Leon 1M 4Syncro (AWD) with 300hp and terrible looking exterior of the car, with all the 2000ish bumpers, tail lights etc. (Kebab tuning as we call that here in Finland)
    So I bought new front bumper, rear bumper, rear tail lights,fitted brand new original Seat rims from Toledo 2017, mounted front mount big intercooler good for all 500+ hp (actually intercooler raised my turbo pressure from 1.59 bar to 1.78bar) very fun car to drive, after one year I sold that for a very good profit, +-500% more than I bought it. I think I will do a little car show off, in the comments, as it only gives 9pictures at once to upload.
    Seat was a sleeper none one thought could go from 0-100km/h in under or 5-5.5 secs depending on the launch and conditions of the road, funny to see BMW 335i trying to keep up with the small hatchback that looked like my grandpa could drive it.
    After Seat I bought E39 Touring 530d M-sport because I always wanted to have one, it was very last models 2004, then E60 came on the same year. Very good and comfortable, powerful car to drive, if I will have a chance to get another one with same options as I had, but with good body, without rust I will get it.

    I sold my BMW E39 530d because it started to rust a little bit and could be expensive even while I work at the garage shop. Also after exactly 1 year I sold that car, did a lot to the E39, chipped it, catless downpipe, complete exhaust, very manly sound from diesel!

    Then I had a chance to buy LR3 from our mechanic, he bought himself a Jaguar and wanted to sell LR, so I put my E39 for sell and quickly enough sold it, for a lot less than I bought it, to get the LR.

    Land Rover is a 2005 SE model, with TDV6, timing belt was done by the mechanic (owner of the car, when I bought it, and luckily enough, it was the TIME, as the belt started to rip apart, when I took it from the mechanic, he had a cross hanging on the mirror, and he said, don't take that away, until we do the timing belt :D

    Rover was nicely maintened. It have now Range Rover dashboard, LR4 leather seats, Ivan (the mechanic and previous owner) was battling the electrics a lot to fit them to work!
    Wheels are IA 19" and 255/55R19 tires.

    So far I bought LR4 tail lights, front grill that are on the way here to Finland, from Britain.

    Love the rover, great car to drive with my family and my little son, very safe(atleast I hope so!)

    Starting with the E34
    1991 520i with M50B20 engine, had a 440tkm on the clock, but ran like new.

    Then E38 (still have that!)
    Bought it with 220tkm on the clock, it is a 730i with M60B30 V8 engine, not very fast car, but it was enough for me, when I was 19.
    When I bought it, it was in a quite good condition, but being me, I can't drive a car without doing my changes.

    It had Chinese headlights, typical gray (forgot the word for that -.-) non-leather interior.

    First I went and bought original headlights, fitted those with angel eyes, fitted Alpina-style front lip.
    Another rims, exhaust system to bring V8 sounds.

    Then the car was lowered with BC Racing BR coilovers, and later new rims again.

    Then another E38 (725tds) with almost full option list e38 could get.

    Then Seat, sadly enough I don't have now pictures how it looked when I got it, but it was awfull.

    Later after big front mount it got even faster.

    2004 with 295tkm on the clock
    530D M57D30TU engine, chipped to 250hp and 500nm
    Almost full exhaust was done, catless downpipe, no mufflers, only 1 resonator.
    Great sport leather interior, and a lot of other nice options. Great car, fun to drive, relaxing, but body started to rust :(

    Sorry for that much spam :D but each car I had, I put my soul into that, and like them all a lot.
