Hello all...It is my honor to be here amongst the elite of knowledgeable LR buffs and enthusiasts on this site...bought my 1st LR4 in June 2021. ...I knew nothing about them except that the LR4 is the most awesome looking, comfortable riding head turning vehicle I've ever owned...I'm live on LI, NY and bought my 2012 Ipanema Sand exterior/leather-ed almond interior LR4 with 101k mi on it in Virginia from a dealership...rented a car to get there and drove the LR4 back home... smooth as butter...
When I picked the truck up at the dealer ship, I made sure they changed the oil in it for the long drive home... Once home, I took it to a local import repair shop for a "once over look"($180/hr) vs local LR shop($230hr) and they said no leaks, vehicle is sound...now, before I had introduced myself I have scoured this site and youtube for all the information regarding the LR4's 2010-2012's learning everything I could to absorb all the info on them... I must say it's been a wild ride...of info...
With the above being said, I know little about repairs and upkeep, but I am learning...
Thanks to this site, I feel, I'm in good hands...
